Days after publicly insulting Governor Waiguru and sparking street protests by Kirinyaga women, Rigathi Gachagua returned to the county, unshaken and defiant.

Speaking in Mwea, he lashed out at the governor:

Gachagua In Trouble As Women Plans To Do This Near His Home

Women leaders have threatened to hold protests near Gachagua's home in Wamunyoro asking him to respect women elected leaders led by Kirinyaga Governor Ann Waiguru. The leaders led by Hon Rosa Mbuyu wonder why Gachagua is disrespecting women leaders yet he keeps saying that his wife Pastor Dorcas must be respected.
