President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Hospitalised


18 October 2025 Kampala, Uganda — The President of Uganda, H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, has been admitted to hospital this afternoon due to an illness reported to be related to kidney complications.

Government officials have announced that a press conference will be held shortly in Kampala to provide an official update on the President’s health status. To know more click here.

Women leaders have threatened to hold protests near Gachagua's home in Wamunyoro asking him to respect women elected leaders led by Kirinyaga Governor Ann Waiguru. The leaders led by Hon Rosa Mbuyu wonder why Gachagua is disrespecting women leaders yet he keeps saying that his wife Pastor Dorcas must be respected.
